In ancient astronauts theory, in the book of Ezekiel in the Old Testament of the Bible, Ezekiel encountered a alien craft in 593 BC, around the Cherar river area, around Kebar Canal, at the Nippur area of Iraq.
Ezekiel saw a windstorm coming the north, and there he saw a flying object in the sky. There was an immense cloud with flashing lightning surrounding by brilliant light. The center of the fire look like glowing metal.
In the midst of the fire, there seem to be 4 living creatures emerging. They had an appearance of a man, but they all have different faces: one with a face of a man, the other, a face of a lion, the other, an ox and the other one, an eagle. Each one of them had 4 wings touched one another, 2 wings spread upward and the other 2 covers their bodies. Their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot. Each one went straight forward, but they didn't turn as they moved. They sped back and forth like flashes of lightning. There's a wheel within the wheel upon the earth at beside each creature and to Ezekiel it seemed to have eyes around the rings. Wherever the 4 creatures goes the wheels goes with them. Above the firmament over their heads, there's what seemed to be the likeness of a throne and upon it's likeness was the likeness of a man above, upon it.
It was theorized that the 4 creatures are some kind of an helicopter-like units. But there's a class of celestial beings called Ophanim, or Ofanim, means "wheels" in Hebrew. Ophan is a singular word, they're also called Galalim, they're the ones with the wheels and the whirlwinds, which the whirlwind is the UFO that took the Prophet Elijah up to space, to the heavens. The beings with the wheels or whirlwinds are class of celestial beings and their wheels and whirlwinds are their crafts that seemed like to have eyes. They are known in the late sections of the Book of Enoch and they are referred as the Many-eyed Ones. The person who wrote the book, Enoch was known to be taken from Earth to other worlds in the heavens above.
