Visited Pho Bac Súp Shop to try their infamous Short Rib Pho, so good. Definitely a pho place I will go back to whenever I crave pho.
We ordered the Short Rib Pho, Slow Poached Chicken Pho, and Pho Tron (Dry Pho). The Short Rib Pho consists of 2 fall off-the-bone short ribs that were tender and meaty. The broth was clean and had a nice beefy taste. The highlight was definitely the short ribs which were so flavorful, the pho noodles were alright (typical pho noodles). Rating: 8.2/10
The Slow Poached Chicken Pho comes with half a small chicken that is super tender and nicely cooked. It comes with dipping salt which is simplistic but paired very well with the chicken meat. This pho uses the same beef broth as the Short Rib Pho. Overall, it is good to try it if you haven’t. Rating: 7.5/10 🌟The Pho Tron was my favorite out of all three and I will definitely order this again. It is so simple yet so delicious. The Dry Pho is a mixed noodle dish with chewy thick turmeric noodles, fried shallots, peanuts, and Pho Bac sauce. It comes with a side of pho broth that you can dip the noodles in. This dish is so simple yet so yummy and the sauce was savory and perfectly seasoned. Rating: 8.8/10
💲Price: Dry Pho $11, Short Rib Pho $15, Poached Chicken Pho $14
