Moms at the studio always ask me what I would recommend for a healthy snack for back to school for their children. Here are a couple of healthy nut and fruit choices that are good for the heart and brain. Remember that a child will learn and pay attention better when they are not hungry. Enjoy! • You will need the following: Clementines Apples Almonds Raisins Pecans Dried Cherries • Snack # 1 1 Mid size Apple, 10 almonds, and a spoonful of raisins. • Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants,flavonoids and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease. • Almonds contain lots of healthy fats, fiber, protein, magnesium and vitamin E. The health benefits of almonds include lower blood sugar levels, reduced blood pressure and lower cholesterol levels. They can also reduce hunger and promote weight loss. • Raisins pack more nutrition than their small size might indicate. When grapes are dehydrated to produce raisins, the nutrients become more concentrated, making a handful of raisins a snack rich in B vitamins, iron and potassium. Besides nutrients, raisins are also a good source of carbohydrates for energy. • Snack # 2 1 Clementine, 10 halves pecans, and a spoonful of dried cherries. • Pecans contain more than 19 vitamins and minerals including vitamins A, B, and E, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. Navy bean, kidney bean and mango with trout fillet!😋 This is number three of our mango series! I’m posting my mango foods because it is on the season. Red beans and navy beans going super with each other (mostly visually!) and it is the ideal food for red and white fans (I’m thinking of people of Poland and Japan and also fans of Arsenal and AC Milan soccer team!!!). I made it with chili spices so the flavor of mango would stand out. In case of the fish after leaving it resting with some spices in the fridge for few hours, I cooked it with few spoons of water and some lemon juice. Cook each side in little water and lemon juice or any other type citron (the best in orange for me) just for 4 to 5 minutes. The result is an amazing tender juicy fish fillet which tastes thousands time better than any deep fried dry oily crap! 🐠 The whole dish (which contains two times more beans!) only 500 to 600 calories! #sanacatino #pescatarian #glutenfree #healthydish #healthyfood #healthyeating #weightloss #lowcalories #no_oil #delicious #delicioso #délicieuse #deliziosa #svaadisht #lugums #navybean #kedneybean #mango #summerfood #trout لوبیای سفید، لوبیای قرمز و انبه با فیله قزل آلا! چون الان فصل انبه هست سعی میکنم که غذاهای انبهدارم را زوتر پست کنم. ترکیب لوبیای سفید و قرمز حداقل از دید بصری خیلی کنار هم خوش مینشیند. البته لوبیای سفید کمی دیرتر میپزد. لوبیا را تند و پر ادویه درست کردم تا انبه بهتر مزه اش را نشان بدهد. ماهی را پوست کندم و ادویه زده چند ساعت در یخچال گذاشتم. بعد در کمی آب و آب لیمو یا هر نوعی دیگری از مرکبات (بهترینش پرتقال است که الان فصلش نیست) گذاشتم و هر طرف را تنها چهار تا پنج دقیقه پختم. نتیجه اش یک فیله نرم و آبدار و فوق العاده خوشمزه است که بعد از خوردنش شاید دیگر رغبت به خوردن ماهی سرخ شده نکنید. باز هم ماهی درست خواهم کرد اگر خدا بخواهد! در این عکس فقط نصف لوبیاها جا شد و تمام عذایی پختم فقط بین 500 تا 600 کالری دارد! #خوشمزه #غذای_سالم #ماهی #طعم_نو

🥐CA’PUCCINO🥐 @ca_puccino gianduja, tomato and cheese cornetti we stopped here in heathrow when we waited for our flight and got these 2 croissants. the service was really slow as someone didn’t turn up which affected the whole team. we were sat for at least 15-20 minutes before they finally came to check on us and take our order. again, we had to wait for quite a long time before our food/drink came as well as for the bill. the croissants themselves were nothing too exciting. the tomato and cheese one tasted exactly how you’d expect but the presentation wasn’t the best. the gianduja one tasted like hazelnut spread inside a croissant so pretty classic but basic. overall, i don’t think i would return as the bill came to around £37 which i think is quite expensive for what we got (we also got more than the croissants).

Estes queques são uma boa sugestão para as lancheiras. São rápidos de fazer e podem congelar e depois é só tirar do congelador no dia anterior e estão fresquinhos para levarem para o lanche 😉 E são deliciosamente saudáveis ❤️ . Ingredientes: . - 3 ovos - 80gr de açúcar mascavado - 300gr de leite de côco (de lata) - 100gr de farinha de amêndoa - 50gr de polvilho doce - 150gr de farinha de arroz - raspa de 2 limões - 1 colher de sobremesa de fermento em pó - 125gr de mirtilos Misturar tudo e colocar em forminhas. Colocar 5/6 mirtilos por cima de cada forminha. Levar ao forno, pré aquecido a 180°, por 10 minutos. Não deixem mais tempo para não ficarem secos. Façam e digam-me se é uma ajuda para o vosso regresso às rotinas. Easiest dinner in the world? I’m pretty sure this Spicy Miso Veggie Rice Bowl is competing for the title! You can never go wrong with pancakes. After an early shift followed by a two hour nap (when you’re nap is longer than the amount of sleep you got at night 😀), I woke up craving these. I know the recipe by heart at this point, so luckily it takes me no time to make them! If you feel like recreating, here goes: 1/4 cup oats 1/2 cup spelt flour 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (optional) 1 tsp baking powder A pinch of salt 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp coconut sugar 1/3 mashed banana 1/2 cup milk (@oatly) - topped with @greenchoicesverige crunchy pb, blueberry chia jam and sunflower seeds. 🥰

Here’s another DIY protein bar recipe for you all to try! You can sub any nut butter / sweetener / protein powder to make them just how you want them 👍🏻 • • 🌱 2c pitted whole dates 🌱 1c almonds 🌱 1/2c hemp protein powder 🌱 1/2c mixed nut butter (bought at Costco) 🌱 1T flaxseed 🌱 1T cinnamon 🌱 1T maple syrup • • ☀️ first grind nuts in a good processor into a powder ☀️ add dates and pulse until combined ☀️ add the rest to form a “dough” ☀️ flatten and shape on a piece of parchment paper and freeze for an hour, then slice into individual bars (I got 15 from this recipe) • • You can use this recipe as a template to make a few different varieties, next time I might add some chocolate chips or goji berries for a little extra yummy goodness 😁
