#4 day - "what you eat"
When you travel, you are i a rush...or you follow the rush. million people commute every day - many times. So take away is rather convenient...do you believe that? I did not had breakfast at home and stopped at a fancy looking bakery on my way to the great central station in berlin. many young single people did their shopping there...bread, cones, small cakes, coffee with oat milk, what you wanted they had it. I bought my fancy whole grain soya surprise sandwich and large coffee and thought I will have breakfast at the central station...just some train rides away. 25 minutes later I stood at my track and finally could enjoy my breakfast. standing at the train track surrounded by thousands of people and train traffic I thought...why am I doing this. I could have made myself some nice light breakfast at home before I left. I would have had energy for the 1 hour ride. I wouldn't eat train dust and my body could focus on eating rather than train stops, traffic, passengers...do we actually know how we treat ourselves when rushing through the day?
I enjoyed some nice nuts'n'berries mix with a banana before I got invited to yet another coffee and cake siesta in the early afternoon. This time with homemade whipped cream...so.I could see how the sugar was added ;) Somewhere in a neighbour village wr could enjoy a nice local farmed 'german brown trout'...that meal was super delicious, all organic, fair trade, local farmed, everything I cannot find in my soya sandwich...
