I feel honored to be curating sound for the next installment of “There Is Enough for Everyone”. the talent on this lineup is le flames. 🔥🔥🔥🔥THIS IS AN EVENT YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS. .
There Is Enough for Everyone will present a night of performances titled, “Everyone at Blaffer” at Blaffer Contemporary Arts Museum featuring “Everyone”; a general collective of LGBTQIA+, black, brown, minority artists and non-minority artists. “Everyone at Blaffer” will follow the opening reception for Paul Sepuya and Jaqueline Nova.
The performances explore space as defined by queer and non-binary voices in contrast to the overt heteronormative structures defining spaces in our country. As a follow up to their June exhibition pointing a spotlight directly at the reality of scarcity within black and brown communities; “There Is Enough for Everyone,” continues to amplify the need and create space and opportunity for, “Everyone.” The opening reception begins at 5 p.m. Performances begin at 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday October 19, 2019. Events at Blaffer Contemporary are always FREE.
