Bye bye Iran!
I'm in bazargan and will soon cross the border to Turkey.
A big thank you to everyone who has made this part of the trip so memorable! The people who I've met on the street, the people who I've met in traffic, the people who has invited me for a meal, the people who have invited me in there homes, the people who have done everything in their power to make my moment, meal, experience, day and my entire trip the best possible!
To all of you who I made angry, I'm sorry.
To all of you who made me angry or irritated, thank you, this trip would not be the same without you!
I have been driving around in iran for a total of 6 weeks now and managed to see a quite a bit of this country. I have had so many suggestions on what to see and where to go, unfortunately both time, and energy did not make everything possible this time.
I've been in Iran 3 times now and as always I had a great time and I will be back!
Iran in numbers:
Km driven: 6500 ish
Visited car mechanics: 2 (the same twice)
Functioning car AC: 0 when I came, 0 when I left. But in the middle it was gloriously cold!
No of road tolls I paid: 3/10 (the rest was free because I was a foreigner)
Pulled over by the police: 3 times (all times they let me go when they realized I didn't speek farsi)
Interrogated by the secret service: 1
No of alcoholic drinks: 1
Till next time Iran, drive safe!
