HEALTHY SMOOTHIE & SALAD A DAY!
Everyday is a good day to feed your body right. I have a smoothie and salad everyday and it makes me feel amazing. If you make your smoothie with healthy ingredients instead of sugary fruit juices, & too much dairy, smoothies can be good for you. By adding protein, plant milks, and good fats, you can make healthy smoothies that are just as tasty and satisfying as the sugary, high calorie ones. -
It's important to eat a variety of fruits and vegetables everyday, in as many different colors as possible. Combining them into a smoothie or a salad is both easy and delicious. Fruits and veggies are loaded with vitimins and minerals and eating a salad a day will increase the level of powerful antioxidants in your blood. Having a smoothie and salad a day also allows you to get the necessary amounts of fruits and veggies required for a healthy body. Fill that salad with you favorite veggies!
➡️1 cup unsweetened almond milk
➡️ 1 Cup frozen mixed berries
➡️ 1 small banana ➡️ 1 scoop of protein powder ➡️ 1 tbsp of chia & flax seeds
Add some ice, and blend.
➡️ organic spring mix
➡️ organic kale
➡️ organic broccoli, cucumber, tomatoes, corn, & 1/2 avacado.
✔ estimated around 200 calories...
I didn't measure my veggies, (bc those are unlimited in my mind) i used my palm as a reference. -
🤚 If you think about it, your own hand should be your measuring cup. It's the perfect size for your stomach and it's always with you so you can use it to help reference a good portion size for you. 🤚
I dont count calories, however I am mindful of the amount of calories and sugars that I consume everyday. Being aware of "what you eat" and "when you eat" can help you when making decisions on choosing "what" to eat. -
