HAPPY MONDAY 💪💪💪 Started the week with a back workout and did a PB on my rack pulls 💥 Impressed myself with a set of 8 reps on 70kg on my 4th set. That's 10kg up on last week.
I don't know if you're the same, but I find coming back from a break mentally challenging. I get really impatient with myself because I'm acutely aware of the muscle i've lost and can't stand this 'fluffy' feeling while I do the gain muscle/lose body fat thing and get my whole routine going again.
My protein and BCAAs are in storage too (I know, what a gumby) so I don't even have access to the usual supplements 😩Honestly, it just doesn't feel right lol.
Anyway, I'm trying not to get ahead of myself. My main goals this week are regularity - min 3 weights sessions, increase protein intake and increase poundage on big muscle groups.
