The best part of food freedom is I can have cereal for breakfast. Not really... it’s about being able to eat WHATEVER I WANT and not letting it control me. Seriously tho... what is an “unhealthy” food that you don’t eat because it is known as being “bad”? I mean, according to society everything has been “bad” at one point. Coconut oil went through a period where it was “bad” due to its saturated fat content and now it is known as a “superfood”. Nuts went through a period of being “bad” because it’s high amount of omega 6s and no omega 3s. Watermelon went through a period of being “bad” because it is nearly sugar water and now it is knows for its hydration properties and clearer skin. Cereal went through a period of being “bad” and oh look, period is not over, it is still viewed as bad because it’s overly processed. Society will label anything and everything creating trends of various labels that for some odd reason we believe to be true. Why do we let society control us? What food do you wish you could eat without hearing that sneaky little voice of “that is bad for you”, “that will make you fat”, or “don’t eat that.”? Here I am having a big ol bowl of cereal! Made these beet red velvet donut-hole-truffle-y things and it didn't even require me to turn on an oven. “I need a bandaid, mom”. • This is the hand symbol that comes to mind when I think about restricting myself from foods I love! I watch people around me not eating carbs, refraining to eat til noon, drinking juices all day, munching on spinach, following all these “diet” trends that make them miserable and it makes me so sad! It doesn’t have to be that way! Food is meant to aide our bodies in working well and to be ENJOYED, not feel like a punishment! If you deprive yourself, you’ll likely end up binging, feeling guilty and in a constant state of yo-yoing. All the enjoyment is taken out of something that should be a wonderful experience. I’m so thankful for the gift of taste because I sure do like to reeeeeally enjoy my bites 😆😋. • If you experience this battle with food like I have in the past, please reach out. Being freed from it once and for all has made me so passionate about what has helped me get there. Tips, tricks, mindset switches, giving my body all the things it wants and thrives off of has me feeling the most energy and satisfaction I’ve ever felt. I’m full, content, and most of all, it’s not a challenge for me anymore for the most part (except during the holidays when I may get a little out of hand 😆💁🏻‍♀️.) • When you give your body what it needs, it doesn’t go looking for more. I made pumpkin pancakes! It’s technically still fall until the winter solstice soooo 🎃 . This morning I woke up craving pancakes and then when I saw the canned pumpkin purée I knew I had to. I just finished my first run 🏃🏽‍♀️ after being on break for about a month. It was super spontaneous. I saw how pretty the day was, pulled over and ran 3.5 miles on the sidewalk/bike trail. . Ecco un breve riassunto: - COSA: è un metodo di ripristino delle scorte di glicogeno e cioè degli “zuccheri” di deposito di riserva nel nostro corpo che sono fondamentali e sono principalmente situate nel muscolo e nel fegato - QUANDO: va fatta solo ed esclusivamente nei regimi realmente #lowcarb a cadenza variabile a seconda dello schema settimanale, allenamento, fabbisogni, obiettivi dimagranti e non... - PERCHÉ: per ottenere il supercompenso, ovvero ripristinare delle scorte ormai super svuotate da giorni di scarico in maniera più ampia rispetto al normale riempimento fisiologico e dare una spinta metabolica, che spesso si traduce in spinta anabolica (più massa muscolare) . .
