Chaffle BLT with Avocado Sandwich I simply love a tasty BLT Sandwich for lunch. I added sliced avocado to give it the extra fat needed for my keto macros. I used my large Belgium waffle iron & cut the one chaffle in half to make two smaller sandwiches. INGREDIENTS: For the chaffle - 1 egg 1/2 cup of mixed Cheddar cheese & mozzarella cheese, shredded 1/4 tsp baking powder Added garlic, onion powder & salt & pepper for seasoning to my taste preference. For the sandwich - 4 strips bacon cooked 2 slices tomato 4 pieces lettuce 1/2 sliced avocado 1 tablespoon mayonnaise INSTRUCTIONS: Preheat the waffle maker according to manufacturer instructions. Make sure it’s hot! In a small mixing bowl, mix together egg, shredded cheeses & seasoning until well combined. Sprinkle some shredded cheddr cheese onto hot waffle iron & let cook for about a minute. This creates a firm crispy base for the chaffle. Pour the chaffle batter into the waffle maker. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Assemble the sandwich with lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayonnaise. Started my Journey on 10/2 and I was in Nutritional Ketosis by Day 4! I was #shook to say the least. I lost 9 pounds that first week. I had PCOS, Diabetes, Bell’s palsy, Iristis, and a Lupus Scare! all from being unhealthy, not taking care of myself and being overweight. My BSL’s were at 370!!!! Which caused me to be in and out of the hospital and were life threatening. I made a change because I was sick and tired of being SICK and TIRED 🤷🏻♀️ maybe this will motivate someone and maybe it won’t but all I can say is that it’s never too late to change ur life around especially ur health. My brother @dcomer_ is a huge inspiration to me. Seeing someone I personally know change his life made me wanna change mine as well. Also wanting to be able to beat these health issues and one day have a baby 🤞🏼anything is possible when u get ur mind right, when u focus and understand it doesn’t happen over night! u are a work in progress. Give yourself grace just like god gives us grace daily! I definitely wouldn’t be able to lose 40 pounds without believing that I’m here for a reason, that I have a purpose and that God wants more for my life! So I had to get right sis!!! If I lost a any weight I felt great, If I gained any I felt like I needed to eat as little calories possible and workout for as long and as hard as I could.. 🤦🏼‍♀️⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Rather than focusing on a number that is going to fluctuate NO MATTER WHAT, focus on taking measurements, taking before and after pictures, noticing how your clothes are fitting, pay attention to all the things that have nothing to do with the scale because I promise you’ll feel SO much better about yourself! 🧡🧡 You aren’t just a number on a scale, you’re so much more than that! 💕

I need your help. I'm not interested in any products, including miracle shakes and pills. I have been struggling the last few months. I feel like I'm doing everything right and still not losing weight. I thought it was stress related, so I've been doing yoga, practicing mindfulness and removed some stressful situations in my life. However, I'm still not losing. I've also upped my activity levels. I've also been tracking my macros and eating within those ranges and really lowering my carbs. Recipe of the day! Almond flour and cream cheese pancakes 🥞 Easy and delicious... just add all ingredients in a blender and then stack’em sky high!! Ingredients: * 2 large eggs * 1 tablespoon water * 4 tbsps cream cheese, softened and cubed * 2/3 cup almond flour * 1 teaspoon baking powder * 2 teaspoons vanilla extract * 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon * 1/2 teaspoon low carb sweetener * Butter and sugar free syrup - I topped mine with @legendaryfoods Apple Pie almond butter and @choczero sugar free maple syrup. I also added @lilys_sweets stevia sweetened dark chocolate chips in the batter Like I said blend everything in a blender but start with the eggs, water, vanilla and cream cheese in the bottom so that the dry ingredients don’t get stuck in the bottom. Recipe alert! ⬇️⬇️⬇️ . Skillet noodle-less lasagna. Just threw this together and it came out delicious. Here's my recipe: 1lb ground beef 1 zucchini (chopped) 1 jar of Rao's pizza sauce 7 oz ricotta cheese 2 cups mozzarella cheese Italian seasoning Turn oven on to 350 degrees. Cook the ground beef how ever you like in a cast iron skillet. Add the chopped zucchini and saute for about 5 minutes. Add pizza sauce and cook 1 minute. Scoop spoonfuls of ricotta and spread a little. Add mozzarella and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
