I don’t know about you, but when I think of cooking I think of family. Recipes hand written and passed down through family members, or a crowded kitchen during holidays cooking all together, or serving up a regular weeknight meal to someone you love, or even that “lets-just-turn-the-kitchen-into-the-living-room” moment
because everyone always seems to gather there. Cooking is heritage, tradition, love and family. .
That’s why we do this. We are Hanna, Jonathan and Joel - a little family on an adventure to build a life we love and help you do the same. Jonathan is the designer and woodworker of all things Workbench Kitchen and I’m the one who does all the talking here and makes the candles. .
We don’t want you to feel like meal-making is a chore. Our goal for Workbench Kitchen has always been to help you make memorable meals and create a beautiful home. We think EVERYONE can actually enjoy cooking and serving with beautiful tools that work better. But that doesn’t mean that you have to cook fancy. Sure, our Spatulas will help you serve a fancy steak for a date night but they’ll also flip pancakes just as well on a night you don’t feel like cooking and just want to wear pajamas. Memories are made in those everyday moments.
What was an everyday kitchen moment turned memory you had this week? Mine was watching Joel stir scramble eggs with daddy.
