While on an official meeting in Sector V area , and it being almost lunch time, I chanced upon this restaurant the other day. Now, normally before trying any new place, I usually go through Zomato or Google to get an overview. So I was a little apprehensive thinking it might be an overrated restaurant, but trust me, I was pleasantly surprised. The ambience is quite royal I would say. The seating arrangement, the placement of the tables, the couple dining crimson sofa chairs, the hanging ceiling light lamps, it all added to the elegance.
Now coming to the food, they really didn't disappoint. The special Chicken Biryani had a pretty decent quantity, with two pieces of chicken, one well done potato and a boiled egg. Now when it comes to Biriyani, I can confidently say that I have pretty distinct taste buds. So this Biriyani was flavourful and not as bad as I was anticipating. The Chicken Lababdar was also quite tasty with a pretty delectable gravy. The butter naan was soft and warm. The only disappointing item was the Boondi Raaita. Now when it comes to boondi, people should keep in mind that they cannot keep it boxed for long, as it tends to get a typical smell. That's what happened here. It was terrible and left a bad taste in my mouth. Didn't try any dessert as I feel that the option was quite limited.
The staff were polite and courteous.
Overall it was a good experience..
